Miriakamba Hut is the first overnight stop on the Mount Meru climb, reached after a 4-5 hour trek from Momella Gate through lush montane forest teeming with wildlife, including giraffes, buffalo, and colobus monkeys grazing in the park's fever tree woodlands. Set at a comfortable mid-mountain elevation, the hut offers dormitory-style accommodation along with sweeping views over the surrounding plains and forest canopy, providing a scenic and relatively gentle introduction to the climb. The relaxed pace of this first day allows trekkers to soak in ArushaNational Park's rich biodiversity before continuing higher the next day toward Saddle Hut and the more demanding terrain leading up to Meru's summit.

Meru Trek in 4 Days: If you have opted for the optional airport transfers, we will pick you up from Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha.
