Day by Day Experience

Day 1

05:00 AM – Hotel Pick-Up in Zanzibar

Your adventure begins with an early pick-up from your hotel and a transfer to Zanzibar Airport. Get ready to exchange the island’s peaceful coastal scenery for the wild landscapes of mainland Tanzania.

06:00 AM – Flight to Mainland Tanzania

Board your scheduled or charter flight, subject to availability. Enjoy the scenic journey towards mainland Tanzania before continuing to Mikumi National Park.

08:00 AM – Arrival and Transfer to Mikumi

Meet your safari guide at the agreed arrival point and begin the transfer to Mikumi National Park. Enjoy the countryside scenery along the way before arriving at the park.

09:30 AM – Enter Mikumi National Park

Complete the park entry procedures and prepare for your wildlife adventure. Your guide will introduce you to the park’s landscapes and explain what to look out for during the game drive.

10:00 AM – Morning Game Drive

Explore Mikumi’s open plains and woodland habitats in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and lions. Keep your camera ready as your guide searches for wildlife and shares fascinating insights into animal behavior.

12:30 PM – Picnic Lunch in the Wilderness

Take a break at a designated picnic site and enjoy your lunch surrounded by the natural beauty of Mikumi National Park.

01:30 PM – Afternoon Game Drive

Continue exploring the park with your guide. Look for more wildlife, observe animals in their natural habitats, and enjoy opportunities for photography across Mikumi’s beautiful landscapes.

03:30 PM – Depart Mikumi National Park

After an exciting day in the wilderness, exit the park and transfer to the designated airport or airstrip for your return journey.

Afternoon or Evening – Return Flight to Zanzibar

Board your return flight according to the confirmed flight schedule and travel back to Zanzibar.

Evening – Arrival in Zanzibar

Upon arrival, meet your expert driver who will pick you up and take you to your hotel.
