Arusha to Serengeti Ndutu for the Great Migration
After being picked up from your Arusha accommodation, you will go to the Serengeti Ndutu to see animals, with a focus on the big migration. In the park, have lunch in a comfortable spot. Before arriving at the camp in the afternoon, we will carry on with the game drive.
The biggest herd movement of zebras, wildebeests, and other animals congregating for the calving season is known as the great migration. This is the time when wildebeests give birth. Every year, mid-December to early April is the ideal time to go.

Serengeti Ndutu for Great Migration and Then Transfer to Ngorongoro for Your Overnight on the Rim
Today, wake up early and enjoy the great migration in Serengeti Ndutu, then in the afternoon, depart to Ngorongoro for your overnight at the accommodation located on the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. This gives you a chance to descend inside the Crater the next day in the early morning and see many animals when they are still more active.
The great migration is the largest herd movement of wildebeests, zebras, and other animals gathering together for calving season. Wildebeests give birth at this time. The best time to visit is from mid-December to early April every year.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha Town
This unique natural wonder is home to an incredible array of wildlife, from herds of grazing antelope to majestic lions and towering elephants. Journeying through the crater on a game drive, you'll have the chance to spot some of the park's most iconic species, including black rhinos, hippos, and wildebeest. Your experienced guide will share insights into the ecology of the region, as well as stories and facts about the fascinating behaviors of the park's many species the Ngorongoro Crater a particularly special location for a game drive due to its enclosed nature. Surrounded by towering walls, the crater forms a natural amphitheater that makes it easy to spot a wide range of wildlife. You'll travel through lush forests and open savannahs, taking in breathtaking views of the crater floor and its many inhabitants. As your safari adventure concludes in the afternoon, we'll drive en route to Arusha for your flight back home.
