Karibu Tanzania! Upon arrival, our driver will pick you up from Kilimanjaro International Airport. He will be waiting for you outside at the exit with a name sign. He will take you to your accommodation in Arusha for dinner and overnight. Settle into your accommodation, ready to start your safari proper in the morning.

After enjoying an early morning breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire National Park a fine Tanzanian wildlife destination named after the Tarangire River, which runs through the park. The river is a major water source, attracting large populations of wildlife, including elephants, which you can see.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its large herds of elephants often seen congregating by the river, giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, lions, leopards, and bird species. Arrive in the park in time for lunch, which you will have after checking in, then go for an afternoon game drive exploring the savannah plains of the park and see various animals.

After breakfast, we will continue with your epic safari Lake Manyara National Park. This relatively small but diverse park, 120km west of Arusha, is so named for the shallow salt lake which covers a good seventy percent of the park's surface area. Flooding and drying with the seasons the soda lake is home to thousands of flamingos as well as over 500 other bird species. On our exploration of the park, we will see monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, elephants, and, with some luck, lions lounging in the trees. The park is known for its diverse landscapes; not only open grassy plains but also primate-filled woodlands and baobab dotted cliffs. After another memorable game drive we, with our adventure replete with images of the African wilds to last a lifetime. 

Your Serengeti adventure begins here. After a good breakfast, you’ll drive to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. It’s world-famous for a reason: it’s home to the world’s largest concentration of wildlife, including zebra, gazelle, lions, wildebeest, elephants, and giraffes. It’s also one of the points of the seasonal migration of wildebeest, which is an awesome sight in the truest sense of the word. Serengeti means ‘The land that moves on forever,’ and you can see why: the Serengeti flows with a never-ending wave of movement and a buzz of activity. You’ll stop for a well-earned break for lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping), gazing down at the incredible views while you eat and preparing yourself for your adventures deeper into the park.

The evening will see you settled in your accommodation, enjoying an appetizing dinner, watching a golden and pink sunset, and picking out the first stars as they appear in the darkening sky. Tomorrow you’ll have a whole day exploring Serengeti further.

Have an early morning breakfast, followed by a full game drive to Serengeti National Park one of the most famous wildlife destinations in the world and the oldest ecosystem on earth. Serengeti National Park is truly spectacular and is the oldest national park in Tanzania. Serengeti National Park boasts abundant wildlife; however, it is best known for its annual Great Migration. Huge numbers of wildebeest, accompanied by large numbers of zebras and antelopes, move in an annual pattern, seeking fresh grasslands and water. The timing of the migration is entirely dependent on the rainfall patterns each year. When you arrive in the park, you will check into your lodge for lunch, and in the afternoon, you will go for an extensive game drive.

You will spend the full day exploring Serengeti National Park and enjoying the sights of the endless plains and animals such as cheetahs, giraffes, lions, zebras, wildebeest, elephants, hippos, hyenas, leopards, wild dogs, buffaloes, among others. After the game will transfer to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

You’ll be up before dawn on an early morning game drive, the air crisp and keen and the sky brightening from indigo to golden pink and finally to hyacinth blue as we explore.

The park is waking up and is alive with the calls of the animals. This is a time for tracking – predators have left their tracks overnight, and we’ll follow. As dawn breaks, the birds’ melodies begin to harmonize, the early morning air starts to warm, and you’ll hear different calls as other animals start their day. You’ll add to yesterday’s collection of sightings: perhaps today you’ll see more hippos; perhaps a troop of monkeys or a family of mongooses will grab your attention. After such an early start, you’ll be looking forward to a delicious lunch, which will be served at the park.

In the afternoon, you’ll start your Ngorongoro adventure by heading off to your accommodation. You’ll spend the evening enjoying a tasty dinner and relaxing under the stars.

After an early but delicious breakfast, you’ll travel into the Crater, which is known as “Africa’s Garden of Eden”; its unique geological formation is at the root of its diversity. Because the crater sides are a barrier to many species migrating in or out, the crater is packed full of wildlife, and there’s an excellent chance of spotting Africa’s Big Five today. You could also encounter vultures, zebra, hippo, wildebeest, and hyenas. The alkaline lake attracts geese, storks, and pink clouds of flamingo, too.

Your experienced guide will ensure that you discover all the glorious wonders of nature in this unique place. In the afternoon, we'll drive back to the hotel, where you will stay overnight at your accommodation. Tomorrow, a new adventure awaits you!

After breakfast, you’ll depart for Lake Eyasi, embarking on a bushmen tour. Enjoy a hot lunch during the day. Later, check into a Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. Lake Eyasi hosts small groups of Hadzabe bushmen whose language shares similarities with the Kalahari’s click languages. Their population faced threats, especially during Julius Nyerere’s Ujamaa policy implementation in Tanzania.

Afterward, you will depart and drive back to Arusha the to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight to Uganda. Upon arrival, you will be picked up from Kampala or Entebbe by your professional driver-guide, who will take you to your accommodation in Uganda for dinner and overnight.

Today, after breakfast will start your journey to the west through Uganda's scenic countryside, passing rolling hills, lush tea plantations, traditional villages, and vibrant local markets. You will enjoy the changing landscapes as you travel toward Kibale Forest National Park, Uganda's premier primate destination and home to the highest concentration of primates in East Africa.

After a lunch stop en route, you will continue to the Kibale region, set against the backdrop of the majestic Rwenzori Mountains, famously known as the "Mountains of the Moon."

Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour of the spectacular Crater Lakes area, renowned for its breathtaking scenery, volcanic lakes, and panoramic viewpoints. You will also have an opportunity to experience the local culture and interact with nearby communities. Later, you will proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay amidst the tranquil surroundings of the forest.

Your day starts early, with breakfast and then chimpanzee tracking. The park is home to an impressive 500 chimpanzees. Before heading into the forest, we are briefed on the trekking procedures. While trekking in the jungle, the guide tells you more about the chimpanzees, other primates, and local flora and fauna, making for an interesting adventure.

The dense jungles of Kibale are the best place to view chimpanzees in Africa. The chimpanzees are commonly found feeding on fig tree fruits in the game park and have been habituated to humans since 1992. Kibale National Park covers 795sq km and consists mostly of a vast tract of equatorial rainforest. This national park is home to numerous forest wildlife species, boasting one of the highest concentrations of primates in the world. In the afternoon, you'll travel south to the Queen Elizabeth National Park, taking in the sights and looking out for the resident game as you drive. This evening, you'll relax and have dinner near Bwindi.

You'll have an early morning breakfast and proceed to the briefing point. You will enjoy the highlight of your trip, gorilla trekking, which may last from 2 to 6 hours depending on the group you are visiting. You'll trek through the rainforest and bamboo-covered slopes, accompanied by a Uganda Wildlife Authority guide and other trackers, in search of a mountain gorilla family.

The walking can sometimes be tough and long, but when you catch a glimpse of the magnificent silverback, any discomfort will be quickly forgotten. Due to the nature of the activity, you will have a packed lunch. After gorilla trekking, you will drive through the terraced hills to Lake Bunyonyi. Besides canoeing, there is a short list of optional activities: swimming (safe in this lake), hiking on some of the Island trails along the lake shores, community walks, and having a chance to meet the local people with small residents and exotic bird species singing.

You will wake up to the breathtaking beauty of Lake Bunyonyi and enjoy a leisurely breakfast overlooking its tranquil waters and scenic islands. Afterwards, you will embark on a relaxing canoe ride across one of Africa's most picturesque lakes, exploring its numerous islands while enjoying spectacular views of the surrounding terraced hills. The canoe excursion offers an opportunity to learn about the lake's history, local communities, and rich birdlife that inhabits the area.

After the canoe ride, you will return to the lodge, check out, and begin your journey back to Entebbe. You'll enjoy a scenic drive through Uganda's beautiful countryside with a stop at the Equator for photographs, souvenir shopping, and lunch.

You continue to Entebbe, arriving in the evening for your drop-off at the airport or hotel, marking the end of an unforgettable gorilla and chimpanzee trekking safari in Uganda.
