Day 1: Arusha Town to Arusha National Park

Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your accommodation in Arusha Town. With lunchboxes packed, enjoy a scenic drive to Arusha National Park, a hidden gem known for its rich wildlife and diverse landscapes.

Upon arrival, embark on a game drive through the park’s varied terrain—open savannas, acacia woodlands, lush rainforests, and the striking Ngurdoto Crater. Keep an eye out for giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, elephants, hippos, and even the elusive wildebeest. Arusha is also home to rare species like black-and-white colobus monkeys and over 400 bird species

Later, enjoy a guided nature walk with a park ranger, offering a closer look at the flora and fauna in this peaceful setting. After your exploration, head to Arusha Planet Lodge for dinner and check-in, where you can relax and reflect on your first day in Tanzania’s wild beauty.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, begin your journey from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, carrying lunch boxes for a full day of adventure. The drive itself is scenic, offering glimpses of rural life and rolling landscapes before you enter the wild beauty of Tarangire.

Spend the day on game drives through this remarkable park, known as the “Kingdom of Elephants” for its massive herds that gather near the Tarangire River, especially during the dry season. The park’s diverse terrain savannas, seasonal swamps, and acacia woodlands creates perfect habitats for wildlife.

Watch for lions stalking prey, leopards lounging in trees, and a variety of animals including giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and over 500 bird species. Your expert guide will help you spot hidden wildlife and share stories of the land.

After your safari, head to Marera Valley Lodge for a relaxing evening, a delicious dinner, and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, set off for a full-day safari inside the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, carrying lunch boxes for a picnic in the wild. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the largest intact volcanic caldera on Earth and one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders

Descend into the crater for a game drive across its diverse landscapes, grasslands, swamps, rivers, and woodlands which support an incredible concentration of wildlife. With over 25,000 animals living here year-round, you’ll have the chance to spot the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and the rare black rhino. Other sightings may include cheetahs, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, and a dazzling array of birdlife, from flamingos to eagles.

After your safari, return to Marera Valley Lodge for a relaxing evening, a delicious dinner, and a cozy overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, head out for a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park, carrying lunch boxes for a relaxed day of exploration. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, this compact park offers a rich mix of landscapes from lush groundwater forests to open savannas and the shimmering alkaline lake itself.

Enjoy a game drive through the park’s diverse habitats, where you may spot the famous tree-climbing lions resting in acacia branches, and large troops of baboons greeting you at the entrance. Other wildlife includes elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and a dazzling variety of birds, including flamingos painting the lake’s edge in pink.

After your safari, continue to Arusha, where your journey comes to a close. As your adventure ends, take with you the memories of Tanzania’s wild beauty, warm hospitality, and unforgettable moments in nature.
