3 days Gorilla trekking in Uganda/ Bwindi Forest

TOUR OVERVIEW

3-day gorilla trek in uganda bwindi forest is very nice; we travel past the equator, take photos, and then go to the jungle. The next day we walk deep into the forest and see big gorillas eat, play, and sit like bosses. It is wow and so fun. The last day we relax and go back with happy memories. Uganda is green safe, and people smile; it is really the pearl of Africa.

ITINERARy

Day: 1 Pickup from the airport or hotel and depart to Bwindi

Be up on time, either around Entebbe airport or Kampala, the capital city of Uganda, or any other part of Uganda, and have breakfast. Next, depart to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. You will stop at the Uganda Equator for an experiment of Coriolis effects, a force caused by earth rotation; have photo shoots and videos; and buy locally crafted souvenirs and mementoes for your loved ones. Then proceed with the journey and stop in Mbarara town for a hot lunch. 

After lunch, you will proceed to beautiful areas of the southwestpart of Uganda, well described by many tourists as the Switzerland of Uganda, until you reach Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day: 2 Gorilla Tracking Day and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi or Stay in the Jungle for next day

Have breakfast at 7:00am, and drive to the park headquarters, where you will be warmly welcomed, entertained by the local people, and briefed by the park rangers about dos and don’ts while in the park. Also, you will be divided into groups of 8. 

After continuing and start of GORILLA TRACKING these gentle giants as directed by the rangers. This is a memorable and an amazing experience watching the mountain gorillas feed, play around, and also do their day-to-day activities. This activity can take 2 hours or even up to 8 hours since it’s dependent on the location and movement of the gorillas. Also expect to walk long distances in muddy and steep conditions—this will require you to have a walking stick.

On meeting the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them as you take life-like photos and videos.

Later, return back to the lodge for a hot lunch. Depending on your wishes, after lunch, you can decide to go to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the beautiful lakes with islands, or stay in the jungle for another night, or go for an evening walk to visit the BUSH MEN community, which will expose you to their culture. Based on how they live and dance, and also hearing stories concerning their culture, you will have a real feeling of the people living around Bwindi forest as well as Uganda.

Day 3: Transfer to Entebbe International airport or Kampala Capital city or Rwanda Kigali

After delicious breakfast, you will start your journey back to
Entebbe international airport or kampala capital city or Rwanda Kigali. 
Cross the equator and have a quick picnic lunch.

You will then drive to Entebbe airport to catch your flight back home.
