TRIP OVERVIEW

This 3-Day Adventure Safari gives you a chance to witness Big Five animals and other interesting animals. You will be immersed in the unspoiled nature of real Africa. You will see wild animals up close and take photos of the wonderful landscapes of Tanzania. All this with the assistance of a Tour Operator based in Arusha. Enjoy full board on safari, a personal English-speaking guide, and private use of the jeep (with mineral water, power sockets, binoculars) and selected accommodations.

Spend 3-Day Adventure Safari in Tanzania Safari Tour as you explore the parks and wild if you lucky spot all Kind of Big Fives. ITINERARy

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire

Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from your lodge in Arusha. With lunch boxes packed, you’ll head toward Tarangire National Park, known for its peaceful landscapes and rich wildlife.

Once inside the park, your game drive begins. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which attracts animals during the dry season. You may spot giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and if lucky lions or leopards resting in the trees.

After the game drive, return to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Travel Time: Around 2 to 2.5 hours (depending on road conditions)
Accommodation: Marera Valley Lodge (Mid-range lodge near Karatu)

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, your guide will take you to the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive with packed lunch boxes.

The crater is the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera and one of Africa’s most famous wildlife areas. It’s home to around 30,000 large animals including lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and cheetahs—as well as many birds like flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Wildlife viewing here is incredibly rich, with many sightings in a short time.

After the game drive, return to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Distance Covered: Approx. 50 km (round trip from Karatu)
Travel Time: Around 1 to 1.5 hours each way
Accommodation: Marera Valley Lodge (Mid-range lodge in Karatu)

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park for a final game drive with packed lunch boxes.

This lush park is known for its tree-climbing lions, often spotted resting in the branches, and large groups of baboons that greet you as you enter the forest. The scenery shifts from groundwater forest to open plains and the lake itself, offering a peaceful and scenic end to your safari.

After the game drive, your guide will transfer you to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport, depending on your onward travel plans. This marks the end of your unforgettable journey through Tanzania.

Distance Covered: Approx. 50 km from Karatu to the park; 126 km to Arusha or 230 km to Kilimanjaro Airport
