Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport & Transfer to Arusha

Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, start your Tanzanian journey with a warm welcome from your guide, greeting you with ‘Karibu Tanzania – welcome to Tanzania!’ You’ll then be escorted to your hotel, where you can unwind and settle into the African rhythm.

The following day, embark on a bespoke private safari in your jeep. This personalized experience allows you to explore the stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife of Tanzania at your own pace. Take your time to observe the animals in their natural habitat, creating unforgettable memories in the heart of Africa.

Day 3: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Start with breakfast in Arusha, then head to Tarangire National Park with Bush 2 City Adventure. Enjoy lunch at the elegant Tarangire Treetops Lodge, followed by an afternoon safari drive, spotting elephants, lions, leopards, and giraffes. Day 7: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we’ll head to the Serengeti, about 145 kilometers away, a drive of roughly 3 and a half hours. Once we get there, we’ll have lunch and then go on an afternoon safari. The Serengeti is famous for its huge, open plains that amaze everyone, especially if it’s your first visit. Over the next few days, we’ll see lots of different animals in this amazing place. Every safari drive here is a new adventure, filled with surprises from the wild. You’ll see many animals and beautiful scenes that change with the light of day. Remember to take photos, but also to just look around and enjoy the beauty of nature all around you. After a day full of adventure, we’ll go back to our lodge for dinner and to sleep overnight.

Day 8: Serengeti National Park

Day 9: Flight to Zanzibar (included in the price)

Begin your day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, capturing the last glimpses of its diverse wildlife. Afterward, fly to the enchanting Zanzibar archipelago, a former center of the spice trade. Upon landing, take a guided tour of Stone Town, the cultural core of Zanzibar City, blending history and local life.

Your stay for the night will be at a beautiful hotel offering mesmerizing views of the turquoise ocean and white sandy beaches. This transition from safari to seaside marks a new chapter in your Tanzanian adventure.

Day 10: Stone Town Tour & Beach Time
This morning, relish your breakfast in the hotel before a visit to Stone Town, a town rich in history and culture listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has guided historical tours. Stone Town is a confluence of African, Arab, Indian, and European cultures as seen in its structures and the environment. Your journey starts from the active local market that is a riot of colors, smells, and sounds; of bargaining, not forgetting haggling. Thereafter you will see a tranquil Cathedral of the 19th century located on the grounds that used to be occupied by a slave market, this Cathedral is very significant as it marks the end of the slave trade in 1873.

In the narrow and winding streets of Stone Town, you will find traditional Arab houses with a hidden courtyard behind a large front door, Indian style houses with elaborate carved wooden balconies on the front. You will tour important places such as, ‘Tip Tip House,’ the Old Fort as well as the People’s Palace Museum. The Silk Route is a rooftop restaurant with a panoramic view of the Indian Ocean as well as a wide variety of Indian dishes for lunch.

Once done with the field trip activities, you will be taken to your beach hotel for dinner and afterwards you will be free to spend the rest of the night by the ocean.

Day 11: A Wonderful Day in Zanzibar Beach

Get ready for paradise in Zanzibar! The crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean and the palm-lined, white sandy beaches are like a dream come true. Sip on fresh coconut drinks right on the beach, bask in the sun, take a dip in the ocean, and savor the mouthwatering Zanzibari cuisine. Feeling adventurous? Day 12: Fly Home from Zanzibar Airport (ZNZ)

On day 12, after breakfast, you have some free time to enjoy the resort until you need to go to the airport. You can leave your bags at the resort after you check out of your room at 10:30 and still use the resort’s facilities.

When it’s time to go to the airport, our driver will pick you up from the resort and take you to Zanzibar International Airport, marking the end of your Tanzania and Zanzibar Luxury Safari.
