Upon arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed directly to your hotel for some relaxation and a chance to soak in the African ambiance. The following day begins your unique, private safari adventure. You’ll have the freedom to explore at your leisure in your safari jeep, pausing to observe the wildlife for as long as you wish.

After breakfast, you’ll drive west to Tarangire National Park, bringing along a packed lunch for your game drive. This park is famous for its large herds of elephants and the impressive baobab trees that provide water for these elephants in the dry season. The Tarangire River, the main water source during this season, attracts groups of elephants, sometimes as many as 250, along with various other animals. After exploring the park, you will leave and drive to your lodge for dinner and to spend the night.

Spend a full day exploring Tarangire National Park after breakfast, focusing on spotting large herds of elephants among the iconic giant baobab trees, as well as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and more. Discover why baobab trees are crucial for elephants, especially for water in the dry season. Enjoy observing a variety of wildlife, particularly near the Tarangire River. Conclude your day with a return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, head out for a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, located between Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, along the Great Rift Valley. This park offers varied landscapes, home to many different animals. You’ll have the chance to see the lake, explore a dense rainforest with numerous monkeys and birds, encounter elephants in the woodlands, and visit the famous Manyara hippo pool where hippos bathe throughout the day. Later in the afternoon, drive back to your lodge for lunch, relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, we’ll head to the Serengeti, about 145 kilometers away, a drive of roughly 3 and a half hours. Once we get there, we’ll have lunch and then go on an afternoon safari. The Serengeti is famous for its huge, open plains that amaze everyone, especially if it’s your first visit. Over the next few days, we’ll see lots of different animals in this amazing place. Every safari drive here is a new adventure, filled with surprises from the wild. You’ll see many animals and beautiful scenes that change with the light of day. Remember to take photos, but also to just look around and enjoy the beauty of nature all around you. After a day full of adventure, we’ll go back to our camp for dinner and to sleep overnight.

Today, we’re spending the whole day exploring the Northern Serengeti, where lots of wildlife roam freely. Our adventure might bring us face-to-face with big cats—cheetahs, leopards, and lions—especially since each season changes who we might see. We’ll take in the Serengeti’s varied scenes, from the water-rich Seronera River to the distinctive kopjes, and large rock formations. Lunch will be outdoors, offering a unique experience that varies with the seasons. Depending on the time of year, we may also witness migrating herds alongside the resident animals, making for spectacular sights. After our day of discovery, we return to our lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Begin your Serengeti adventure with a full-day safari, led by an experienced guide, to witness the magnificent wildebeest migration. As the evening approaches, return to camp for a night of storytelling by the campfire under the starry African sky.

On your fourth day in the Serengeti, explore the wildlife-rich region, rivaling the Southern Serengeti, especially from July to October. Post-breakfast, a full-day game drive awaits, where you might spot elephants, buffalos, eland, gazelle, cheetahs, or even the elusive black rhino. The afternoon offers a chance to witness new sights, possibly a Mara River crossing if your stay is in northern Serengeti, guided by your driver’s expert knowledge. The area’s diverse residents ensure a lively experience, concluding with a return to camp for dinner and overnight rest.

After breakfast, you’ll drive to the famous Ngorongoro Crater, one of the natural wonders of Africa. This crater, formed two million years ago from a volcanic eruption, now hosts an incredibly diverse ecosystem with the highest density of animals in Africa. In the crater, you’ll see a variety of wildlife, including lions, zebras, buffaloes, and black rhinos. The scenery is spectacular, offering panoramic views at every turn. In the late afternoon, you’ll leave the crater, exit the park, and head back to your lodge for dinner and to spend the night.

It’s the final day of your safari adventure! Depending on your flight schedule, you can enjoy some extra relaxation time at the lodge before our driver transports you to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your journey home. Feeling tempted to extend your stay? You have the option to extend your holiday by exploring one of Tanzania’s enchanting paradise islands, such as Zanzibar, Pemba, or Mafia!
