Safari Overview
The 9-day safari is the ultimate mid-range safari experience. You will get to see the most important highlights: Arusha National Park, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Overnight in the bush, under the stars with a great atmosphere. You will have a chance to see all kinds of animals such as giraffes, zebras, elephants, leopards and lions. And if you are lucky even a rhino! Our guides will take you off the beaten track and give you the best possible safari experience.
Day 1 Arusha National Park
Prepare for an exciting 9-day safari adventure! Tomorrow morning, your guide will collect you from your hotel and escort you to Arusha National Park. This compact park teems with diverse wildlife, including giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, Colobus monkeys, and flamingos. After lunch, join a ranger for a thrilling walking safari, offering intimate encounters with wildlife. As the day concludes, return to Arusha. Overnight at kahawa house
Day 2 Tarangire National Park
Today, your driver/guide will collect you Hotel in Arusha, starting a 2-hour journey to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, soak in the picturesque scenery of local villages and Maasai herds. Inside the park, embark on a thrilling game drive, renowned for its abundant elephant population, plus zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, lions, and cheetahs. Savor a picnic lunch within the park, and in the afternoon, resume your wildlife exploration. As daylight wanes, exit the park, concluding your day at Manyara, offering a stunning pool vista of Lake Manyara. Overnight at Tloma lodge.
Day 3 Lake Natron + Waterfalls
After breakfast, we will head to Lake Natron. The drive from Manyara to Natron is remote, with a desolate, other-worldly beauty and an incomparable feeling of space and antiquity. The roads pass through untraveled Maasai land, with small bomas and big mountains often in view. Upon arrival, your guide will take you for an adventurous walk to the waterfalls (make sure to bring walking shoes). Overnight at Tloma lodge
Day 4 Natron to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we will head towards the Serengeti. Catch the surrounding landscapes that come complete with stunning views of Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai. It is a still-active volcano and the Great Rift Valley which stretches all the way across several countries in Africa. Enjoy the view and after a few hours drive, we’ll be entering the Serengeti where you’ll be doing a game drive en route to Accommodation at Serengeti where you’ll have dinner and your overnight stay at Lake natron Tented Camp
Day 5 Serengeti National Park
Today we are doing a full-day game drive in Central Serengeti, exploring the plains and wildlife all around you. In the evening, we will stay the night at Serengeti. The lodge is comfortable tented lodge is scenically located where sunrise is your daily wake-up call and the beautiful sunset will always alert you to go to the campfire or a sun downer. Day 6 Morning in Serengeti, Afternoon Ngorongoro
On day 6, we will do a game drive in the Serengeti through the morning. In the afternoon, we’ll be heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It is beautifully located in the nature of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Overnight at Serengeti Tortilis camp.
Day 7 Ngorongoro Crater
Today, we’ll drive early into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. Approximately 25,000 large animals live in the crater. We will find many zebras, wildebeests, elephants and if we’re lucky even rhinos! In the afternoon, we’ll drive to Lake Eyasi, where you’ll rest and prepare for tomorrow’s adventure. Overnight at Tloma lodge.
Day 8 Lake Eyasi: Hadzabe & Datoga Groups
It’s going to be a special day as we meet the unique communities near Lake Eyasi. We’ll visit the Hadzabe, a group of nomadic hunters who live off the land and rely on the bush, and the Datoga, a pastoralist community known for their silversmith skills. The Datoga trade iron tools for honey and fruits with the Hadzabe. After this enlightening experience, we’ll head to Lake Eyasi for stunning views and then unwind at the swimming pool in your accommodation at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge.
Day 9 Lake Manyara National Park
After a good night’s sleep, it’s time to go to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is known for the tree-climbing lions, the soda ash lake and its flamingos. Between the game drives, we will find a nice picnic site to enjoy our lunch. In addition, you can book a walking safari and enjoy the park on foot with a park ranger. It will be an amazing experience to see the animals up close! After our afternoon game drives it’s time to head back to Arusha where your safari adventure will come to an end.
